Pastor's Letter

                                                                                         March 22, 2020

To All Members and Friends of the St. Peter’s Family,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Christ.

We are going through an extremely difficult time- a time filled with great uncertainty and fear. If you find yourself becoming overwhelmed, please remember:

     1. There is a difference between going into a river and going through a river.   As God led the Israelites through the Red Sea safely to the other side, God is leading us through this time of crisis.

     2. Instead of constantly focusing on the horrible news of the day, concentrate on the fact that this crisis time will be over one day. Pray and thank God for that blessed day. Begin planning something wonderful you will do on that day. Focus on how happy you will be when that day comes.

      3. Contact family and friends often. Conversations need not be long. Just let them know that you are concerned about them. Constant contact will help our church family to stay together.

Dear Lord, please help us to remain calm and obedient to Your will as you carry us through this time of trial. In Jesus’ blessed name we pray. Amen.

                                                                 Love,
                                                                 Pastor Clarke
