The Choices for Success

"You are free to choose, but the choices you make today

will determine what you will have,

be and do in the tomorrow of your life"

- Zig Ziglar

Success is ultimately realized by people who make more right choices and recover quickly from their bad choices. Some choices that help create success are never seen by others.

  • Character choices... known only to the person making them. The character choices include deciding not to be a victim, to be committed and passionate enough to succeed, choosing values, and making the integrity choice.
  • Action choices... that move you toward success. Those choices include the do-something choice - moving beyond talk and getting things done; the persistence choice - when you stick to the objective long enough to win; the attitude choice - taking an enthusiastic approach to work and life; and the adversity choice - attacking and conquering difficult issues.
  • Investment choices... through which you reap the profit of success. Those choices include investing in relationships, learning from criticism, being realistic about your strengths and weaknesses, and leaving a legacy that will live through generations.
